{Tim & Alice}

This is not a self tribute to my blog. Alice is my heroin and Tim is Tim Burton .
The movie, Alice's in Wonderland, that will be released next year, on March 5 it features Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Mia Wasikowska as Alice and many more...

The movie is almost like a sequel to the original story, just a bit more modern and fresh: Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember.

Can't wait to see the movie, I'm not a big fun of Tim Burton but he will be able to direct a nice magic movie, as all his other movies!

What do you think when a book or a novel are transformed in a movie? To you, which book was better represented?

  5. I love Alice in Wonderland...I can't wait for this movie to come out. Knowing it is from Tim Burton you must expect something out of the ordinary but I am excited otherwise. I will have to go watch the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland because it has been so long. Hope you are having a good week!

  6. This will no doubt be a phenomenal film. Tim Burton never disappoints!

    Having said that - the book is always better than the movie.. atleast for me. I feel very close to characters when I read books, and when the actor is so much diff't than I envisioned, I cannot enjoy the film. Having said that, they are doing a much better job recreating books today.

    Thanks Gaia
