{B'Day weekend}

Good morning ladies...

I'm in France for two days, just in time to visit my favorite antique market, eat some croissants and enjoy my mom...

Saturday I threw a "party" for my last days of B'Day celebration.

What's the best part of Birthdays?

Parties...

I love to organize parties dinners.

I love to have my friends at home.

Between my friends I'm the one that organize more often dinners at home. 

It could be a "girl's night" or a Christmas dinner or just a simple dinner 

I love that and I think they love it too.

Mr B gave flowers, beautiful roses and he surprised me with the cake and the candles. 

I didn't prepared a B'day cake but just tiramisù .

He arrived with the cake just before our friend showed off and I admit I cried!

Glasses are never enough...

I had candles everywhere. They are perfect to worm a room.

My two little mice  on the table...

and then the cake...

Yes...I'm 36...

evrybody said I look younger...

But I'm 36!!!!

{Girl's Dinner }

Hello my friend, 

It's friday afternoon... Thanks God it's friday and in few hours I'll join my family in Tuscany and tomorrow I'll be at the beach....What I really need!

Yesterday evening I've invited Federica and two other friends for dinner. Mr B. wasn't at home and I wanted to spend few hours with my friend enjoying good food and nice talks. 

You've already seen/read Federica's History about the evening (I LOVE IT!)

 The preparation take me always a lot of time but at the end I'm happy with the result!

I love to have dinner at home with friends and I love to pay attention to all the details. I want my "guest" to be happy and comfortable chez moi...

In few hours I've organized everything...

Flowers, candles, food, cocktail and a fresh dessert. Everything was perfectly set up when they arrived!

Flowers in old bottles and candles in little paper bag...



Flowers: pink and white freesia

Cocktail:  Bellini Cocktail, with peach nectar and lemon juice and iced wine

Food:
Gnocchi with pesto and tomato
Mozzarella and tomato
Chicken Salad
Pizza

Dessert: Coulis of Mango with coconut ice cream erved in preserve's jars.

Micaela loved it!

And this is Chicca...

I'm off for the entire weekend....

Christmas is finally arrived... I'm so happy I cannot describe how much! I did my last gift today, called my friends, written some emails ...



After a months of run, gift, bake, cookies, panettone, packages, works, ribbons, homemade decors, dinner with friends, candles, snow Christmas eve is here!



I'm still on a hurry, I have just few minutes left and then I'll be closed in the kitchen helping my mom to prepare dinners and lunches...



This evening is "Eve" and for traditions we do not eat meat... I'm in Tuscany with my mom's family and then I'll visit my dad's relatives after Christmas. I'm a bit sad for many reasons but I won't bother you 'cause it's time for joy and laugh, smile and happiness!

Usually we exchange gifts the 25th... When I was little me and my brother prepared milk and cookies for Santa and my mom placed all the gifts under our tree and in the morning the milk and the cookies were gone. We do the same every year even if we are not kids anymore...but it's a tradition...



Now it's time to say THANK YOU... you made my year, you helped me when I was down, Ive met so many beautiful people and in the future I know I will meet so many nice blogger/friends that are out there... thanks for emails , comments, awards, gifts... This is a thank you to each one of you. I'd love to say it personally but distances doesn't give me that opportunity... Maybe I will meet some of you soon ...
