{Home for Christmas}

 (photos by me - do not use the without my permission)

Ovviamente!

Take a look yourself!

I'm totally in love!
Io ne sono totalmente innamorata!

{A french country house and her soul}

Finally here!

You know E-Magdeco, for sure. I read that cosy online magazine every week to see what's new and I was waiting for that french country house.

Eccolo!

Laetitia Rissetto run the magazine. She's unbelievable.
She's like a magician with a magic hat. She always surprise me with her discoveries and with that house I think she just surpassed herself!

Laetitia Rissetto dirige questo "giornale". E' incredibile.

A family home in the south of French, in Aix-en-Provence. The owners renovated it entirely.

Antique furniture and objects founded at the antiques marquet decor the rooms.

They used natural color for furnitures but they used details to add colors. Pink, red, yellow...

Candles, frames, old furnitures help to give a strong personality to this amazing house where the details are the real protagonists.

Candele, cornici, vecchi mobili aiutano a dare una forte personalità a questa bellissima casa dove i dettagli sono i veri protagonisti.

The bathroom is my fav room, maybe because of those stripes... I have stripes at home and so, you know I have a thing for stripse!

I love the idea to hang necklaces to the wall... I think it's a very good idea to copy!
I have lots of cozy necklaces and my boxes can't hold them anymore!

Enjoy!

{It's time ...}

Home Sweet Home... finally!

Tomorrow it will be the first day in my new house. I won't sleep there till the weekend or at least next week when I'll move defenitely...

Till then I have too many things to do...tomorrow I'll go clean carefully everything, then I'll wait for the carrier that has to deliver all the appliances and then all the furnitures and all the hundreds and hundreds of packs! I'M SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T BREATHHHH!!!!

I'm kidding, obviously! I'm so happy! It will be magic and fabulous! I know everything will be fine!

Do you remember her? Maybe I didn't introduce her to you!

It was a Saturday, two weeks ago! She was all alone in the streets near the garbage can, leaning against a three. We met in the morning, I was in the car with Mr B... As soon as we saw her we decided to take her home with us. She made a big smile, and it was immediately love!

I made her a new dress. She deserve it. Do you remember when , in Dirty Dancing Patrick said " Nobody puts baby in a corner!"? Well, I did the same! I don't think it's fair to use things and then throw them away without even trying to fix them!

It was simple, easy and fast! I've cleaned her with a wet cloth and then with acetone to take off all the traces of glue and grease.

Before to use water paint ( not acrylic!) I've used a white primer paint. Preparation is fundamental. The right choice of primer or undercoat is key to achieving the best results. I've let it dry for 4 hours and then I've chosen a white/grey to paint the chair, let her dry for 4 hours and then painted again.

I've made my own stencil mask to decorate it. A laurel crown and a crown with our initial "B"

I'm really satisfied with the result and I'm proud for what I've done. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you but, please, forgive me... I can't stop smiling!

What do you think of my new "friend"?

Wish me luck my dear friend! My new life begin tomorrow...

{Spring Inspiration}

Hi ladies! Did you have a nice weekend?

Mine was quite good! We had two days of sun and blu sky and that's enough for me! The weekend runs always too fast. Too many things to do just for 2 days! I had the time to see my new house, bargaing at the antique market (I'll show you some nice pics!), get crazy at Ikea and had an aperitif to celebrate a friends for her birthday and Federica and Giacomo 'cause they are officially engaged!

One week and it will be Spring (what the calendar says...at least!), what a better period to think to some changes at your house? You don't need to change everything. You don't need to buy new furnitures. You just can modify something, add some details, change some colors, change the disposition of the furnitures or paint them.

Friday I visited an amazing store, the world of decoration, the paradise of the house. I was like a kid at Toys 'r Rus. I didnt know where to start and where to look, I wanted to buy everything. I spent more than an hour looking around and at the end I din't buy anything, not a candle, not a furniture, not a flower... Nothing at all! But I've found a lot of things that I could possibly need to decorate my house and I get a lot of inspiration!

Spring brings new colors! Green, mauve, purple, grey and the timeless white. I found some ideas for the table that I will use for Easter lunch with my family and I hope for my home inauguration!

I adore baskets! You can use them for everything. To decorate or as storage.

Beautiful bed for your kid's bedroom! Elegant and classy. Love the mix of fabrics used to make all those pillows!

Lots of flower everywhere. I love fresh flowers but you can find fantastic fake flowers! I know they don't smell and they aren't the same... But if you can't have them fresh every day , that's could be a good compromise!

Domes and vases all over! I love glass , but you already know it!

Dark wall and with neutral color.

For the garden...

Don't you love to have your little house wherw to stay , to read a book, to escape from the nois and form the confusion?

Isn't beautiful a big lantern on your table for your Summer dinner in the garden?

(photos by me )

For Easter! I want that Rabbit!

I hope you enjoyed the tour as I did it! Now I have a dream... To remain closed inside the store to touch and see everything!

unused/old cake mould ( or a glass, vase, little box)

Fresh moss and berries (or holly) You can add some "tears" of essence!

et voilà....
