{To be continued ...}

Where were we?

... and finally the day of the move arrived ... My sweet owner cover me carefully to protect me during the travel...

After few days of chaos I found my place in the new home and I have to admit that I really love it!

Ready?

Ta Da...

What do you think of my new style? My owner is very shy and truly modest but let me say something "You did a great job!"

Now I have another role...No more clothes but dishes, glasses, porcelaine...

She has an obsessive cure to details in a positive way ( that type of attention to minute details but she's not mentally ill!) I hope she will show you soon the beautiful things she put inside me. Beautiful heritage from her granny, her collections of old marmelade jars and bottle and many more.

I love the chicken wire. I'm exhibitionist and the chicken wire it's perfect for me...Everyone can look inside!

This is my friend ... but we'll talk about it another day... Today is my day!

(*photos by my owner!*)

p.s.: a big thank you to my adorable assistant!

{This is my Habitat}

Habitat is a UK-based international home furnishing retailer with its own retail operations in the UK, in France , in Spain (5 stores), and in Germany. I remember that few years ago there was a store near where I live and it was the first furniture store, even before Ikea!

Habitat recently launched a pan-European brand campaign featuring Helena Christensen, Bjorn Borg, and other selected personalities and shot by Todd Selby (I've already talked about him here)

Here are some layouts from the Habitat Fall 2009 "this is my habitat" ad campaign that The Selby shot in London.

Todd Selby said "The concept for the campaign was to show the Habitat furniture in a new way, one that was more realistic and felt less polished than your typical furniture ad. Helena Christensen and Bjorn Borg both appeared in the campaign as well as a bunch of cool Londoners that we rounded up. I really like the Habitat product, too bad they don't ship to the US!

Helena Christensen, famous Top Model from Copenaghen, describe herself has a "...collector because I love finding pieces on my travels and putting them into my home. I don't know if there's a specific style to my place exactly. People have said it's eclectic but I've always felt it's important to make your home like you are." "Whether it's my home or my clothes I don't like things that match too well toghether. I like a touch of imperfection and imbalance. After all nobody's perfect!"

How beautiful is she? And what a strong personality..

this is her behind the scene...

I love people and home with personality! Difficult to find them but they exist and they are unique! I don't like common things, easy to find. Now I'm looking for some jars and 'till I didn't find them I'm not satisfied!

My latest finds took me a while, search online and at the antique, I've even asked to my friend that live in Madrid to take a look at the antique if maybe you couldn't find it! At the end I've found them and you can imagine how happy I was ...

They are the old (around 1860!) marmelade porcelaine jars... I simply love them!

{Bargain at the antique}

Saturday afternoon I took a walk at the antique market with Mr B. We were looking for something special, and at the end we found it.

Where I live, we are not used to have antique market every sunday but only a weekend per month and if you love to bargain, or just walking around old furnitures, fabrics, vintage clothes, old jewels and accessories like I love this is a bit unnoying!

However...

A sunny saturday helped us on our treasure hunt... Mr B has his own ideas on how to decor the house so we have to reach compromises to not fight for everything! He trust me and my style. He knows I won't put ribbons and flowers everywhere: it won't be a girlish house!

Mr B. looking for 2 chairs!

Beautiful china and white porcelaine.

Old Cryistal chandelier, perfect for my entrance!

My favourites object ever... I've collected so many pieces in the last period, bought at Nice brocante, on Etsy, on Ebay and got them from my granny! I could sell them!

Porcelaine knobs for my old furniture.

This is our treasure, 2 old french chairs. Mr B was really excited , he bargained a bit and then we took them at home! He wants to use it for his desk, I'd love to use them as nightstands... Who's going to win?

What makes you argue with your boyfriend/husband?

Love

p.s. : don't miss this week oh, hello friend giveaway... it's quite nice and I'd love to be the lucky winner!

{Une belle maison...}

St Martin de Rès, a corner of paradise, is the location for this fantastic home photographed by Jordi Canosa.

A simple entrance hide a typical french elegance characterized by rich chandeliers, soft colors and beautiful vintage furnitures.

Mauve, grey, withe and soft neutral colors are the palette colors of the entire house.

Big furnitures in the kitchen to contain glass domes, beautiful dishes and glasses. I'd love to have it in my little tiny kitchen!

The dark grey parquet is more common in North Europe than in French houses but it's perfect with th contrast of the decorations. Big rooms, very bright and light thanks to the big windows that surround the house.

Big sofas to receive your friends...

The main bathroom, mauve and grey... Love the bath tub and the pictures that cover the wall...

The bedroom, maybe a little too dark for me, but comfortable!

And the swimming pool for the summer months! What could you ask for more?

Wouldn't you love to spend a weekend in this house! I wish I could!

Ladies ...don't forget to visit Dallas new website and to enter the giveaway!

{Bright Swedish life}

Carola and her husband Nisse with their 2 children live in this beautiful house. She's the owner of an Interior design store in Malmo, you can imagine from those pics how beautiful the store has to be!

I love the white floor, it gives light and space to the rooms. I love the white-on-white color scheme of this fantastic house.

This is the Shabby style I love... Recycled material, natural fabrics, second hand furnitures and lots and lots of details... flower, pillows, candles... I can't wait to start with my home!

Now that I have to decor my new home I need to find more inspiration to define the style that I'd love to reach for my nest!
White, grey, cream and old furnitures are my starting point then everythings else will arrive consequently!

I'm so excited...can't wait to show you everything!

{Millefleurs}

During my stay in Nice I've found a very nice little charming store.

"Millefleurs" is in the Old Nice and is owned by Iban a young beautiful blonde lady. She's from Denmark were she worked as interior designer and , already 10 years ago, she moved in Nice and she opened this cosy little boutique. When she found the store, it was really in a very bad condition. She did a very good job to take him to the old beauty!

The store is situated in one of the descend of the Market and it's worth the visit! Everyday (except for Christmas Day and if it rains!) she open her little "paradise" and welcome all the clients with her sweetness and she show you everything you want to see. She's very helpful and nice and she will help you to discover all the beautiful things her store hide!

The store is on two level... One is on the street (that's what fascinated me the most !) with all the little table dressed with her beautiful linen and denish porcelain, and the other is up the stairs...

You'll find beautiful basket, home linen, aprons, tea towels, accessories, and the most famous denish porcelain Green Gate

Dots, stripes, flowers, check ...

It's impossible to resist to not buy anything!

This is the perfect place to find all I need for my new home! If you are in Nice...go to see hi to Iban she will conquer you with her smile and her kindness!

Hei girls...more has to come! I hope you enjoy it!
