{ City Look }

The weather says that the weekend will rain, so you've decided to visit a city, his museums and monuments.
What do you put in your luggage?

Il meteo conferma che il fine settimana pioverà, così avete deciso di visitare una città, vedere i suoi musei e i suoi monumenti.
Cosa mettete in valigia?

Every time I travel I like to be comfortable without renouncing to femininity. My luggage is always heavy, it's always a move!
The weekend it's too short and I've decided to bring just some essential things!

If you decide to stay home just put some colors on and go out for dinner...
Even if it rains it doesn't mean that we have to wear black!

Se invece decidete di rimanere a casa indossate un po' di colore ed andate a cena fuori!
Anche se piove non significa che dobbiamo vestirci di nero!

This is my perfect style!!!
Questo è lo stile che più mi piace!

I'll work all the weekend...
What a pity!
I've so many things to prepare, organize!
Thousand photos has to be edited!
And you?

Where are you summer?

lavorerò tutto il fine settimana! Che dispiacere!! Ho così tante cose da preparare, organizzare
migliaia di foto (davvero!) da sistemare!
E voi!

Dove sei finita estate?

{Blue&White}

A summer house in France, l'Ile d'Yeu, looking at the Atlantic Coast.

A big open kitchen to host summer dinner with friends.

Neutral colors for the living room with big sofas and a big firplace for the late summer evening, when the air is fresh and you need some warm !

This is the perfect place for people who'd love quite and tranquility. No pc, no telephone, no traffic... Just the noise of the sea!

Barefoot all days ...

Totally white with some touch of blue, this is the characteristic of that house. Old furnitures and vintage pieces are well mixed.
Simple and cozy, a fantastic retrait where to spend some relaxing days.

{Coriander Girl}

Today I've made one of the best discover of the last months...

Coriander Girl... Alison is a young girl from Canada that own a very cute flower and antique shop. As she say, she is " sunshine and dance parties " a fantastic description! Not only flowers, in her store you can find vintage treasures and locally made crafts, candles, lotions, soaps, teas... Actualy you can buy everything is in the store!

Coriander girl is also her blog, a "...blog about the little flower shop I own and anything else I feel compelled to share...". The name Coriander girl was "...inspired by my love for all things fresh and beautiful and Coriander being my favourite herb it seemed like a perfect fit..."

As soon as I came upon her charming blog I was totally thrilled. I've always dreamt to have a store like her store. Naif, beautiful, a corner of Paradise, the Eden!

I've read her blog entirely, from the beginning and believe me that I've loved every single post, pics, bouquets. I have a passion for old jars, old bottles and vases . She make beautiful bouquets in those amazing mason's jars, or old vase or unique vessels.

If you want you can ask her to make a bouquets in your own vase (Bing it from home!) or you can choose from a big range of vassels !

I feel that we have so much in common and she make me think to my dream and to the way I can pursue it!

I've made lots of questions to Alison (Alison, can you describe/introduce yourself to my reader?
When everything started? Did you aways loved flowers since you were a little girl or it's something you've learned lately in those years?Tell us a bit more about your store? When did you open?Do you have a favorite fLower?The secret for the perfect bouquet? I have so many question for you but I don't wanna bother you so this is the last question: do you have any advise to give to people that want to follow your example?)and here what she said:

"My name is Alison Westlake and I opened my little floral/antique shop seven months ago.

It was a total, dive in head first, kind of experience. I had always loved flowers and gardening but went to theatre school and became an actress in stead. I wasn't very happy auditioning for film and T.V and decided maybe it was time to do something more enjoyable with my life. I live in the most amazing neighborhood in Toronto, Canada. It's an eclectic mix of artists, crafters, foodies and gardeners. The shop came available and I signed the lease before I was totally sure what I wanted to do with it.

I knew I wanted a flower shop and to have vintage goods as well but the rest was kind of up in the air. I sat down at my computer and wrote a 40 page business plan and approached people for money. My start up costs weren't too bad. I needed a fridge and some furniture pieces which I sourced from local antique markets. The fridge was new and my biggest expense.
My back ground is in gardening, I worked for a landscaping company while I was in college and new back then that I would be doing something with flowers in my life.
I thought I'd have a shop in my forties when the acting career died down but I signed the lease on July 15 2009 at just thirty years of age!
My favorite flowers are peonies, lilacs, dahlias, wispy greens and berries of all kinds.
The secret to a perfect bouquet is making it look like you just grabbed a few stems while walking a long a garden path. It's harder to make something look natural in some ways.
I prefer unstructured, relaxed arrangements. Around my home, you'll see single stems in small vintage bottles all over the place.
My advice to anyone interested in pursuing their dreams, you have to do it. Take big risks and you will succeed. It's scary but their is nothing scarier to me than looking back on my life and regretting not having done something I wanted to do. Find a way to make the thing you enjoy be what you do everyday.
Air humping and fist pumping really helps!!

Alison you are so adorable! THANKS FOR ANSWERING...

Girls you better go visit her blog nd take a look to her store... She's a ray of sunshine in those rainy days... Anyone has seen Spring? Can you tell her that it's time to show up!?

{Looking for Summer}

Finally May...A month that I adore because Spring is at his best ( or it's supposed to be...!) and summer is at the door! May is simply in the Middle...

We start going out in cotton dresses, t-shirts, ballerinas, no more wool or coats or tights and even before we realize it we are at the beach wearing bikinis!

I'd love to wear one of the Lilibon's collection. The sexy, custom-made French lace suits are designed by Emilie Bon! Not the usual swim-suit but a modern version of Brigitte Bardot's bikinis wore in Saint Tropez beaches!

Ok, maybe you (and I) won't look like the Divine BB but aren't the cute? French Retro style and soft colors (cream, rose pink, periwinkle, and gray) the perfect combination!

I'm looking for a one piece and I'd love exactly the one above!

But even that bikini will be ok!

When I was younger Summer was defenitely my fav season, maybe 'cause i had 3 months of holidays from school or because I spent every single day at the beach with no worries for home works. Now (that I'm not so young!) I have to admit that I appreciate every season for many reason but Summer still has his place of honour in my heart...

My 10 reasons to love Summer :

1) walking barefoot on the sand
2) my turquoise bike
3) sea, sun and beach and lazy days!
4) figues, peaches and watermelon
5) the scent of the suntan lotion
6) light texture dresses
7) the beach at 6.00 in the afternoon and that light breeze that comes form the sea
8) eating outdoor drinking iced wine
9) the light...day are longer on Summer!
10) that feeling of freedom...

summer is your season? Why...JUST A REASON TO LOVE IT OR TO HEAT IT!

I have to thank you all for your comments (I'm so glad you love my cupboard). A BIG BIG THANK YOU is for Mara...you know why! You have been so precious!

{Sweet chaotic days}

It's the chaos! Totally and defenitely and we are in the middle of it!

Yesterday we had the move. At 8.30 a truck come to pick up all our things and then we had to empty it and bring furnitures, boxes, poackages, bags, etc at the third floor of a very old building: No elevator, lots of steps (67!) and very very steep stairs!

just few things ...

But at the end we did it! The worst has passed easily! Now it's my turn! Do you remember the song "Girls just wanna have fun"?... I will!

I will enjoy every single moment and I will take care at every single detail! I'm not saying that I'll finish to decorate it in a week or even in a month. I'll take my time to find all the little things that will give a strong personality to our house!

I need to enter defenitely to understand what I need, what I'd love to have ... I need to live our house...

The thing I like the most in those days is my daily picnic...

Now I have to thank Fede...I won her giveaway ! She's a very sweet and kind friend but you already know her and our frindship! ...

What do you say? you don't know her? Go check her blog...

Thank you for what you've said about me....Thanks a lot, your words mean a lot for me and thanks for the giveaway, you made my day!

Don't forget to enter my Easter Giveaway... I know it's a fantastic sensation to win something so don't loose the chance to be my lucky winner!

Hope you enjoy my pics and my (almost) daily report...

(photos by me)

The view from my windows... astonishing!

Good night!
