Inès de la Fressange is a French supermodel and designer of fashion and perfumes ... She was one of the most famous top model in the 80's (she began her modeling career in 1974; some gave her the nickname of “the talking model”) when she became the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with Chanel, by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld whose muse she became.

Now she is a businesswoman with a chain of clothing boutiques, a designer, and a consultant for Jean Paul Gaultier. She presented a creation by Gaultier for his Spring/Summer 2009 haute couture collection at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and walked the runway for Gaultier during the event, at age 51. She collaborate with Parisian designer Bruno Fissoni to relaunch the Roger Vivier’s haute couture shoes, for which she became art director then chairman...




She's beautiful with an innate elegance...whatever she wears, jeans and converse or an haute couture dress, she is amazing...

Audrey Tatou is the new face of the Chanel No 5 for the new commercial of the french Maison directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet ( she already worked with him in his movie "Amelie").

Nikole Kidman five years ago was the image of Chanel on the last commercial, that was simply amazing. A modern love story, she was stunning...

Jerry Hall is the new face of Chanel Summer Spring 2009 advertising campaign.
She plays an older woman to a younger man in next season's ads for the the fashion house's handbag line.
Karl Lagerfeld will shoot the Chanel handbag campaign inspired by Colette's Chéri novel, about the relationship between a young man and a woman almost twice his age.

{Flowers or Sculptures ?}

I know that my friend will really appreciate that post and I hope she won't be the only one.

I love Chanel (who doesn't?) and the Spring 2009 Couture Collection is fantastic, an all-white collection with some black details. Wonderful paper roses, magnolias and camellias were transformed into beautiful paper-flower tiara (designed by Katsuyo Kamo). Karl Lagerfeld, to prepare the collection, said he cleared everything away and "started with a clean sheet of paper."

I'd feel so romantic wearing one of the tiara!!!
