{Etsy favourite store of the week: Behold The Jewelry}

Here I am... back with my Etsy favourite store of the week.

It's time to introduce you to Kris and her new store that she has just opened.


I've met Krisalmost at the beginning of my blogAdventure and we started exchanging comment on our blogs and then some nice emails.
She from New York and I begun to follow her because on her blogs Behold the Metraton she was giving great tips about her city, that is the city I love the most.
Then I've started to follow her because we have many things in common, one above all is the love for food, the love for kitchen, the love for a good glass of wine and for a dinner with friend!

I really like her and when she opened her etsy store I was thrilled. I think she 's really talented and I'm happy to "help " her in her new adventure!

I asked her to describe herself and her new adventure.



She says...."I am a writer-producer for Vh1 by day, and a graphic design student, cook, and jewelry maker by night. So many things, so little time but that's life! I like to stay challenged by always engaging in fun and creative projects. In my spare time (ha) I like to go out with my boyfriend, cuddle with my kitty Martin, take pictures of nature, and watch TV shows. Lost, The Office, and Top Chef are my favorites.

Her Etsy Store "...is all about earrings at the moment. Earrings are my staple choice when it comes to jewelry. Some women can't leave the house without their lipstick or a cute handbag. I need my earrings! I like to use fun beads and jewels that dangle off the ear. The perfect accent for a cocktail dress or a white t-shirt and jeans. The styles are universal! I also like to take broken jewelry that I've had for years and re-work the usable bits into a new and fabulous look. My earrings are simple, and prices that I feel go with the times for handmade goods. One day I'd like to add hair pins, brooches, and art work to the site. But that will take some time."

And I look forward to see her next creations and her next challenge...

{Long weekend in Pictures}

It's Sunday evening and I'm back at my pc. Right in time for a new post about the last days...

Last thursday I decided to go back to Tuscany to spend few days with my family and to enjoy the last days of sunny and hot weather. I love beach in September. No crowds, no screaming children all over, the sea water was clean and freezing.



To me Tuscany is like heaven, it's my medicine when I feel sad and blue and when I have some worries I look at the sea and I feel calm and quite... It has the power to change my mood in a very short period, it's therapeutic...
Don't you think?



I need the sun and the sea as the air to breathe!
I read my book ( I've almost finished the last book of the Twilight series, I adored all of them and I can't wait to see the next episode "New Moon"), I listened my favourite music and renewed my tan...




I come back to Bologna on Saturday afternoon because I had a dinner chez Federica. She did an housewarming dinner with all of our friends. Before, me and Mr B., we went for a walk and we had an aperitif just the two of us. He wasn't with me in Tuscany and I missed him too much!

Federica and Giacomo (federica's boyfriend) did an awesome job on how they decorated their little love nest! I know that most of you know her and her blog and you know what I'm talking about. It's very very pretty and delicate. The main features of the house are : soft colors and a particular attention to details, a romantic touch with a french inspiration, warm and bright. It's cosy and welcoming. I really like it!!!

They set the table and put candles everywhere. The dinner was great as well as the chats with my friends. We had a very nice





The were also the boyfriends... they are just not in the pics! Thanks Patata! (it's how I call her Potato!)

Then , today we went to visit Mr B.'s relatives for lunch. It was his granny's birthday. They live in the country where I had the chance to see magic transformation of fall. Beautiful colors and still warm and sunny! It's like what people call Indian summer...




We spent the afternoon at a vintage faire where, unfortunately, I couldn't take any pics, and we ended the weekend with this fantastic sunset!

p.s.: what have you done?

{Antiques around the city}

Summertime is the perfect period to visit Antiques and (as you know it) I really love them. I've been to Sarzana, in Liguria, where in August, for all the month, every summers, the city became an old market at open sky.


Hundreds of stalls all over Sarzana, an old city situated only few kms from the coastline and from the Tuscany's border. This little village is full of history and influences from differents culture and it is a very nice place to visit.
We found a lot of interesting things, real antiques furniture or just handmade goods. The inhabitants open the door of their houses and offered a lot of products and amazing things: old books, frames, vintage jewels or home made foods as jams, cookies...







At the end we stopped in a very nice restaurant. "Indaco" is a bio- vegetarian restaurant with an asiatic touch...Cous cous, seitan, vegetables...so good!


and then it's me...
