{A weekend for me}

An entire weekend for me...

I was at home (after a while!) and I did all  the things I can't do during the week...

Cooking, baking, reading books, taking pictures...

Un intero weekend tutto per me, finalmente dopo tanto e ho colto l'occasione per fare tutto quello che amo fare e che non faccio mai abbastanza.

Cucinare, fare dolci, leggere libri, fare qualche foto, bere un buon the caldo...

I decided to prepare a good Fall recipe... 

Potato soup with a mix of mushrooms and a fresh Boletus...Fantastic!

Per prima cosa ho deciso di preparare una ricetta decisamente autunnale..

Una zuppa di patate con funghi stufati ed un porcino a crudo

Buonissima!!!

Saturday Morning I had a shooting with a special couple...

Guss who?

Sabato mattina avevo appuntamento con una coppia speciale per fare loro qualche foto...

Sunday I spent the entire day editing photos and relaxing on the sofa reading a book I've received at the end of Summer: Cercando Grace" the new Enzo Miccio's book.

E domenica sono stata tutto il giorno in casa a sistemare foto e sul divano a leggere. Leggere è una di quelle cose che faccio sempre meno e mi dispiace perchè sono semre stata una grande lettrice ma da un po' di tempo non lo sono più.

Ho letto un libro che mi è stato inviato a fine estate per farne una sorta di recensione a modo mio: "Cercando Grace" di Enzo Miccio che tutte sicuramente conoscete.

Amante della Francia e affascinata dalla figura delle principessa, scomparsa esattamente 30 anni fa, ho accettato con grande curiosità!

In tutta sincerità non è proprio il genere di libri che leggo ma perfetto per una domenica sul divano a bere un buon the...Leggero, piacevole, protagonista Virginia e una Kelly di Hermes, dal nome della principessa Grace... Una storia d'amore, un po' di mistero... Un libro perfetto pe runa domenica pomeriggio d'autunno sul divano...

And I baked a classic lemon plum cake for the morning breakfast!

Ed ho sfornato un classico plumcake per la colazione dei prossimi giorni!

 e poi mi sono iscritta d un corso di fotografia, siamo andata a cena fuori con i nostri amici in un posto carinissimo, ho finito il cambio degli armadi...

e non vedo l'ora sia il prossimo weekend...

una giornata al mare con un cielo azzurro un sole caldo ed un'arietta frizzante in compagnia di Michy e Luca a Viareggio per festeggiare il loro primo anniversario di matrimonio

chissà perchè ma mi sentivo a casa...un po' come se fosse anche la mia festa

Anche questa volta Elena la mamma di Carlotta ci ha stupite per le sue idee e tutte le decorazioni

L'Ale ha curato tutto l'allestimento ed io ho fatto da sua assistente !

tante tazzine, tag "mangiami" " Bevimi", nastri colorati, ed i dolci dell'Ale insueprabile !

La torta di "non-compleanno" con Alice e lo stregatto era semplicemente meravigliosa!!!

Carlotta's mother surprised us as usual with decorations...cups , "eat me and drink me" tags, ribbons, and Ale's sweets...Fantastic... She always surprise me!

Per un po' metterò a riposo la macchina fotografica... ma per poco...

il 7 ottobre ci sarà il battesimo di Greta a Roma ed io avrò l'onore di essere la sua madrina! un ruolo speciale e di responsabilità...

I have to give some rest to my camera...but not for so long ... The 7th of october I'll go to Rome for visiting my friend Fla and her doughter Greta...She's organizing her Baptism..I'll be her Godmother

{IG Wedding Weekend}

Capita raramente di incontrare persone che ti fanno sentire a casa 

e ancora meno che queste persone ti ringrazino infinitamente per aver reso speciale il LORO giorno

Sabato mattina io e l'Ale, come due Thelma e Louise ci siamo messe in macchina alla volta di Varese Ligure per il matrimonio di Sara e Nicola. Eravamo le fotografe.

Fino a Parma il sole poi...sembrava la fine del mondo...nebbia, pioggia....

ma alle 5 quando la cerimonia è iniziata ha fatto capolino il sole tra le nuvole...

cerimonia celebrata sotto ad un albero davanti a tutto il paese...

Un matrimonio splendido

come tutto il we

Non vedo l'ora di farvi vedere le foto non per farmi fare complimenti o critiche

ma per farvi vedere quanto sono stati bravi Sara e Nicola ad organizzare tutto da soli la loro festa...

Sara poi ha realizzato favors, inviti, decorazioni 

C'era il carretto dei gelati, una street band,

i colori erano l'azzurro, l'ecru ed il bianco

c'erano una vespa azzurra ed una 500

c'era un prete molto particolare

c'erano tanti bambini che hanno giocato tutta la sera

c'erano tante lucine ad illuminare la loro serata....

Grazie a Sarah per avermi fatto conoscere Sara!

Grazie Sara e Nico per averci ospitate ed accolti nel vostro caldo abbraccio

Credo proprio che torneremo a trovarvi!

{Girl's Dinner }

Hello my friend, 

It's friday afternoon... Thanks God it's friday and in few hours I'll join my family in Tuscany and tomorrow I'll be at the beach....What I really need!

Yesterday evening I've invited Federica and two other friends for dinner. Mr B. wasn't at home and I wanted to spend few hours with my friend enjoying good food and nice talks. 

You've already seen/read Federica's History about the evening (I LOVE IT!)

 The preparation take me always a lot of time but at the end I'm happy with the result!

I love to have dinner at home with friends and I love to pay attention to all the details. I want my "guest" to be happy and comfortable chez moi...

In few hours I've organized everything...

Flowers, candles, food, cocktail and a fresh dessert. Everything was perfectly set up when they arrived!

Flowers in old bottles and candles in little paper bag...



Flowers: pink and white freesia

Cocktail:  Bellini Cocktail, with peach nectar and lemon juice and iced wine

Food:
Gnocchi with pesto and tomato
Mozzarella and tomato
Chicken Salad
Pizza

Dessert: Coulis of Mango with coconut ice cream erved in preserve's jars.

Micaela loved it!

I'm off for the entire weekend....

{Good Morning}

hello my ladies!

I'm off today! I'm on my way to Florence! I'm going to visit Irene and his family! They invited me and Mr B for lunch!
I'm so excited!

Don't worry! I will take lots of pics to show you HOW AMAZING is this family! Actually...you don't need my pics! You know Irene and you appreciate her talent, her passions, her Valdirose!

It's some days that I'm a bit confused and quite "sad"... Don't worry! I'm fine... 

I just need to understand!

What a better way to relax and recharge batteries?

Usually, when I feel blue I cuddle myself with some sweet goodies like bread, butter and jam, I take care of myself, I do what I love, I bake, I stay with friends, I lay down the sofa reading my new books, find some new ideas to realize... 

So, that's the plan:

Great breakfast

Lunch with friends

...

I'll see...better not to organize!

Unexpected things are always the best !!!

... begin always with a good breakfast!


I know how difficult it could be during the week 'cause we are always in a hurry. Early wake up, not enough time to set the table and to sit enjoying a good coffe reading newspaper. That's a pity!



That's why the weekend should be dedicated to breakfast ritual. You should pamper yourself, your fiancè, your children, your family, your friends at least the weekend when you are justified to take it slowly!

Even better... someone should pumper YOU! You need to take a break from everything! I know happiness it's not in a breakfast (even if it well prepared and with love) but it's a good point to start!




I make it simple, bread, cereal, butter, marmelade, fruits, coffe (a lot of coffee!!!) and milk, sometimes I add some muffins or some homemade bread but usually it's like this!

Believe me, the day will be soooo good!

Hello ladies,

Thank God it's Saturday and it seems it will be a Sunny weekend!!

As always the weekend is dedicated to all the things I love: meeting friends, taking some pics, going out for a walk, windows watching and bake!!!

I have a chocolate cake's recipe to try...

I'll take part to my first engagement shooting and I'm really excited!

I'd love to have a garden to take care to my plants and vegetables but I have to be content to take care to my beautiful flowers!
