If you still don't know what to do (as me and my boyfriend) this could be an alternative to all the touristic places and to the crowd.
If you are looking for a nice cozy place to stay in a charming and fascinating country stile you should visit Bastide le Mourre, a guest house & holiday rental in the heart of Provence.
Le Mourre is a seventeenth century country house set in ten acres surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
The barn, the hayloft, the pigeon house and the magnanerie have been transformed in 6 independent fabulous cottages that have been restored with comfort and elegance in mind.
They are different one from each other but all of them have their own personality and style. Each house has its own terrace and arbour, garden, fully equiped kitchen.

Where the wine used to be kept...
I'd like to rent one of the cottage with my boyfriend and our friends. We could stay out all day visiting the villages and the country, then come back and jump on the swimming pool watching the sun goes down and drinking a glass of wine, had some cheese, then take a shower, wear a simple dress with sandals, lots of jewels and go out for dinner under the stars!
I could live in that way for weeks, months... for ever! don't you?
This place is heavenly...I could happily spend my holidays there!
RispondiEliminaI wish the USA would get on the holiday band wagon. I could use an entire month off, and that would definitely be a great place to spend some time.
RispondiEliminaI'm with your friend Sunshine on this one! How beautiful. You described the perfect holiday, Gaia. I love this estate and these wonderful rooms. So much better than staying in a hotel. Thanks so much for sharing! I am green with envy right now. :)
RispondiEliminaWhat a lovely idea.... it sounds like a great way of spending some time away, and also to avoid the rush of the holiday-fever ... as for me i will be coming back to Italy for holiday/visiting friends & family but we (me and my boy)also would like to take a week off before my departure and it seems like you have given us some idea!
RispondiEliminaThanks!Have a great day, here after a week of boiling hot, it started raining and not sure when it's going to stop ..... uffa!ciao
