This week I'd love to introduce you to the magnificent world of Maddie the designer behind Petit Rococo.


Madeleine, Maddie, is 27 , she grew up in River Forest but now she live in Chicago, a fantastic vibrant city! Windy, very windy but so much fascinating!

Inspired by her travels abroad, specifically to Vienna and Paris, her jewelry line captures her style and love of historical architecture and romantic clothing. The name, "Petit Rococo" comes from the French word ‘petit’ meaning small and Rococo in reference to the 18th century art movement. The combination of these words presents the wearer with something a little feminine and romantic.

Hi Maddie, welcome to my Wonderland. Can you tell us something about you and about your jewels? How and when everything started?
In December 2009 after I was laid off from my work I decided to pursue jewelry desig.

* How do you create your jewels? Where do you get the inspiration?
I am inspired by color, romantic clothing, art, vintage jewelry, and the baroque time period

* What do you love in life, aparte creating amazing jewels?
I love traveling, reading, listening to music, and thrift shopping

* Last question... The blogland is full of talented girls, would you like to share with us your favorites?
