{Homemade Christmas decorations - Part 2}

Hi Ladies,

it's Sunday late in the evening ... It's my favourite part of the day. Silence, my music, a cup of the, my blog and you!

How was your weekend? I had a very busy weekend 'cause I've started working at my friend's store, one of the most beautiful store in my city "La Cappelleria Trentini".
Gloria is an adorable genius... She has a unique store. She sell bags, clothes, accessories that it's not easy to find in a classic, normal stopre.

Her store is more than 150 years old. It was born as a hat store for men, then when she decided to work at their parent's store she addedd new things... French accessories, Japanese clothes and socks (amazing), frenche and english bags, italian shoes and great leather boots and many more! I love her store. I used to work there for 3 years. Now Alice, gentle, funny, smiling and nice helps her !

If you are thinking to visit Bologna, don't forget to visit Gloria...(I will post more pics about my fav stores)

Then I had to finish all my friend's gift. This Christmas I've decided to make my own presents. i love to make things and donate to the persons I love. I think they have been appreciated . On saturday, Me and Mr. B we had a Christmas dinner at my friend's house with all of our friends. Great dinner... it's not the perfect period to stay on a diet!
We opend all the gifts... I received nice and "warm" things!

I love Christmas... but you know it! Someone told me that I'm Christmas-ish girl ....Love you, you are right!!

For the second "episode" of Homemade Christmas decorations I've chosen....

I've made a Garland and some decorations...

Simple and easy...

You need:
* pinecone and a foam garland
* ribbons
* artificial moss
* Nuts, cinnamon sticks
* silver "dust" ( in italian is Porporina... I don't remember the english translation)
* white paints
* soft spray glue
* hot glue

Paint the pine cone and let it dry for about an hour. Repeat the operation if you want the pinecone perfectly and totally white. Then spray the glue all over and sprinkle with the silver powder and let it dry . If you want you can use hairspray to polish and fix the powder. Be careful to cover the table where you'll work with a plastic tablecloth if you don't wanna ruin it. Prepare lots of pinecones and put it in a big vase or a tray with candles...the ending results will be great!

Cover entirely the foam garland with the moss using the hot glue ( be careful to your finger... I have blisters all over!!!) and decorated with the nuts and the cinnamon sticks in the way that you prefer. You can also use dry orange and apples, cloves, little pinecones... Fix a ribbon on the top...

... et voilà!!!

(sorry for the pics... I know I could do better, but it was 2.00 o'clock in the morning...).

See you tomorrow!

I still wait for your pics... I have a Christmas Giveaway contest and I need a winner... Kris you are the only one at the moment
... I think you are the winner!

Have a great week!
Lots of things to do and to think about!

Love you all!

I'll tell you soon the gift!
