The other day I jumped on a train and I reached Irene in Florence.

We walked through the little streets of her magic city visiting vintage stores and talking talking and talking without realizing it was already the time to come back home. 

L'altro giorno sono saltata su un treno per Firenze per raggiungere Irene.

Abbiamo camminato per le viuzze della sua magica città entrando nei negozietti vintage e parlando, parlando e parlando senza rendersi nemmeno conto che era già arrivato il momento di tornare a casa.

When you visit a city what do you do?

You visit monuments ( actually we saw them from outside...) and Florence is a monument herself!

Quando visiti una città cosa fai ?

Visiti monumenti ( in verità li abbiamo visti da fuori...!)

You visit nice stores ( we saw them inside!)

Visiti negozi carini ( li abbiamo visti anche all'interno!)

We found a very nice Vintage Store, one of the 100 we saw ...

Irene tried a very nice red dress. She's looking for something beautiful for her nice's Baptism!

Camminando ci siamo imbattute in uno dei tantissimi negozi vintage di Firenze.

Irene si è provata un vestitino rosso delizioso. Sta cercando qualcosa di carino da indossare per il battesimo della nipote!

C'erano anche dei bellissimi vecchi abiti da sposa, nessuna di voi è interessata?

Gloves...I adore them. I always buy some new colors for winter... 

There are great stores, they have hundreds of style in every colors!

Guanti...li adoro! Ne compro sempre di colori nuovi per l'inverno. 

Ci sono dei negozi fornitissimi di guanti. Ne hanno di tutti gli stili e di tutti i colori.

Then, if you are lucky, you meet new people

 I met Francesca. Irene's dear friend.

She 's going to be married soon but I can't say nothing more!

Poi se sei abbastanza fortunata incontri anche nuove persone.

Ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare Francesca. Una carissima amica di Irene.

Si sposerà presto... ma non posso rivelare altro!

She run a dance school with her cousin.

I've tried a great emotions walking through the dance rooms. Parquets everywhere, walls covered with mirrors, bars and a big piano ...

Ho provato una grande emozione camminando per le stanze della scuola di danza. Parquet ovunque, specchi su tutti i muri, le sbarre che circondale le stanze, un pianoforte a coda...

When I was a kid I dreamt to be a "ballerina" but I didn't have what they call 

"le phisique du role"...

Quando ero bambina sognavo di diventare una ballerina ma non ho mai avuto quello che chiamano "le ohisique du role" ( collo del piede? Collo a cigno?....non pervenuti!)

oggi vi presento una nuova amaica anche per me. Lei è Lara. Non la conosco. Abbiamo cominciato a "parlare" qualche settimana fa e visitando il suo blog mi sono resa conto che abbiamo qualcosa in comune e così ho cominciato a seguirla giornalmente ( anche se non lascio commenti...Ti leggo!)
Siamo sempre attratti dalle persone che hanno i nostri gusti!


Ama l'autunno e l'inverno così ho pensato quale modo migliore per celebrare l'autunno?

Buongiorno a tutte oggi sono felice di poter scrivere su questo incantevole blog, Gaia è fantastica e spero di poterla conoscere al più presto.

Per le nostre piccole principesse e per i nostri cowboy, ecco una collezione allegra, colorata  e pratica. Room Seven ci propone cuscini, lenzuola, piumini che trasformeranno le loro camerette donando originalità e un tocco country agli ambienti.

Gli abiti sono semplici ma al contempo eleganti, perfetti per le giornate ricche di giochi e studio.

Maybe not too cute, magic and without frills but they have things I always look for: tags, notebook, stationery...!

Saturday I had a very emotional and touching day, I didn't imagine it.

Since I've bought the mould I've made already "tons" of madeleines, those little shell of sweetness!! my fridge is almost to explode, I gave them to my family, I've offered them (fresh, almost just took out from the oven) to the girls Saturday before starting the crazy shopping!

Da quando ho comprato lo stampino, avrò fatto "tonnellate" di madeleine, quelle piccole dolci conchiglie. Il mio congelatore potrebbe scoppiare da quante ne ho fatte e le sto distribuendo ad amici e parenti! Le ho anche offerte (fresche, nn surgelate...quasi appena sfornate!) alle ragazze , sabato, prima di iniziare lo shopping sfrenato!

I really enjoy to make them, they remind me my beautiful holiday in France ( Ups...I still have so many pics to show you).

Mi piace prepararle perchè mi ricordano la vacanza in Francia (UPS...devo ancora mostarvi un sacchissimo di foto!), le mangiavamo a colazione!

Well...

My weekend will be busy as all the pasts and all the next one...tomorrow ther's my friend's daughter's baptism... I'm the godmother! I've made the favors, probably I will show it to you monday!

Sabato abbiamo pranzato in un posto molto carino

It's a new cafè. They opened last friday and so we decided to book it for the lunch with the girls.

I know that it was the right place for them!

It's an uncommon bar for Bologna, very different to the majority of the cafès.
Un posto nuovo che ha aperto o scorso venerdì e così abbiamo pensato di prenotare per il pranzo con le ragazze! (come mi piace dire "le ragazze")
Non proprio in stile Bolognese, molto diverso dalla maggior parte dei bar. 

Talking about details... they had me with them!

WOW...they have a big collection of glasses, they bought them in Belgium, Berlin and in some brocantes in France.

You know my love for domes, big cups, glass cake stands...

so this cafè worths a visit even only for that and the decorations!

I dettagli, mi hanno conquistata!
Hanno una grande collezione di "vetri" che hanno comprato in Belgio , a Berlino e in qualche vecchio Brocante Francese.
Sapete ormai ( ve l'ho ripetuto all'infinito) il mio amore per cupole, alzatine, coppe in vetro!
Questo bar merita una visita se non altro per questo!

The food, well... They have salad, sandwiches, cheese with marmelade, quiches...
It's a bit expensive and they should make some more different dishes but the sandwich I had it was good!

Il cibo, che dire! Hanno insalate, panini, quiches... Un po' cari e dovrebbero fare un menù un po' più ampio ma il panino che ho ordinato devo ammettere che era buono! 

The graphics they use is fantastic. They put a little animal on their menu, they have nice packaging for the take away and for their fancy pastry!


La grafica usata per l'insegna e tutte le decorazioni è molto molto carina ed è piaciuta a tutte!
Il piccolo animaletto sui menu, un bel packaging per il take away e per la pasticceria...azzecata!

Isn't it a great idea for Christmas? You know what you'll receive from me!

Ho pensato di spedirle le foto di una tavola dal sapore vintage e francese.

Adoro le tiere con le rose , le dalie ed i tulipani e amo ogni singolo dettaglio. 

Sul tavolo troneggia un meraviglioso croqueembouche e una semplice tarte au citron.

Amo ogni singolo dettaglio: da ogni cosa traspare attenzione per i particolari e amore per le cose belle.

I sent her  photos of a french vintage inspired table decor.

I love the vintage teaspots whit roses, dahlias and tulip!

On the table dominates a wonderful croquembouche and a simple tarte au citron.

I love every single detail: from everything transpires attention to details and love for beautiful things..
