{Guest Post: Marianna}

Goodmorning my sweet Friends!

It's time for a guest post...
Marianna  from It's Party Time is my guest. She has terrific weeks... In just few days she will marry Matteo and then they will move to Copenaghen. They decided to move over there... good luck guys! Don't be afraid from the weather...

So... with her wedding to organize and the luggages to prepare, she found the time to write this nice post!
I'm so grateful for that!
I've met her 10 days ago and I can guarantee that she's fantastic. She has a contagious smile and two big beautiful eyes!

Enjoy!

Hallo everybody!

What a pleasure is being here today, with Gaia, an absolutely special girl, very talented, creative and of great expectations. I’ve always found fascinating people that have the beauty inside, that’s why I actually accepted with great enthusiasm and pleasure her invitation to leave a little mark in her magical world, and I decided to do it through a series of pictures that play on the “odi et amo” which, I reckon, might be able to describe me better than more of plenty of adjectives.

Even in moments of deep anxiety and stress, no cups of chamomile, I never liked it, neither when I was child, but only the intense aroma of coffee!

Actually, I’m a daily animal, and sleeping is not one of my favourite activities. I’m fond of the first part of the day, when cities, roads, and homes are still sleeping.

If I have to think about a slice of bread it would be: bread with jam. If I think about a sweet it will be: jam tart. And if I think about sticky fingers: jam!

At salty air, the sun and sand I rather prefer green huge fields, walking on open air and feeling my lungs regenerated by fresh oxygen.

Lavander has on me the same effect that the repellent has on insects, whereas I’ll go crazy for the scent of the cinnamon.

Thanks again Gaia for your invitation. Thanks to these “confessions” you made me smile. I’d like to know what’s hidden behind these my predilections. If one day I find it out , I will Gladly be about here to leave you one more post ;)

Thank you Marianna... you are a ray of sun... Copenaghen will have the sun soon!

Did you like that post? What do you like and what you don't like?

Who'll be the next guest?

Stay tuned!

{More than a lunch - 1 part}

It's the first time that I don't have any words to describe the lunch at Irene's house.
She lives not far from Florence and with a sunny day and the blue sky you can see the cathedral from her bedroom's windows. She lives a Lastra a Signa a very tiny "village" so carachteristics.
I can't say nothing bad about Tuscany...I'm from Tuscany too!

It's in the counry side, no traffic, no noise, and a beautiful surround. Totally immersed in the nature...

Irene & Paolo welcomed us in their amazing enchanted garden...
As soon as we entered in the path I've been overwhelmed from a huge Hydrangea's hedge.

As I've told you it's so difficult to write about them, their home and their Valdirose B&B.
All the things I could say they won't be enough to describe them and how we felt.

Irene is a fantastic girl. She seems to be so "shy" but she's strong, too modest, very generous and with a talent for receiving that let me speechless. I'm an aesthete and a perfectionist and as soon as you get inside their home it's seems to be in one of the famous home decor's magazine...

I won't show you their home, I don't want to violate their privacy...
But I want to show you something better... Her home's details that say more than thousand words.
you know that I have a thing for details. Faschion details or home decor details define a personality!
And Irene has a strong defined personality!
But if you follow her blog you know that already!

The attention she put in all the things tell me so much about her, about her style and her natural and not artefact personality.
I think that style, like class and elegance, are something that you can't build or create or even buy...
you can work on it...But if you don't have it... people will understand it.
And Irene has it, and a lot!!!

Paolo, her husband, her friend, her partner, her world is a genuine and pure person. Mr B is not known to be a very open person. Usually he likes to listen and to analyze who is in front of him. With Paolo something happened. They started talking from the first minute they met that Sunday.
Irene and Paolo are a magic and real couple. They couldn't find a better person for each other.

Only at the end of the lunch, when he served Champagne they told us that it was Paolo's birthday.
He served the cake with a style... he made a design on the slice...HE!!!

whatever...He suffle on the candle with his little princess Beatrice.
She express a desire ..."I want to be loved by Dad" and I almost burst into tears...

I was so excited that I didn't took any pics at the kitchen. My favourite place. For me that I love to bake, to have people for dinner, to cook their kitchen is heaven.
But all the rooms are amazing...

You've already seen this pics on her blog... I like the place she found for the trunks...It couldn't found a better home!!!
What I've loved about their home is that even if is so elegant it's comfortable and it doesn't make you feel worried to sit on the sofas!
They've that elegance....

The lunch...
she knows how to satisfy your eyes, your mouth and your soul...
The food, the presentation, the table set were perfect!

Beatrice...

she's an angel! Big blue eyes, dark hair, white skin with pink cheeks ...

her tattoo!
She get along with Denis...
I played with her all day... she's a gentle spirit and she 's so mature!

This is it! for now...
I had a fantastic day, I wish I could do it again soon...
I won't tell you what we talked about, it's the treasure I want to keep just for me from that day.
But she gave me good advises and she helped me a lot to spend a carefree day that is something I need now.
I'm jelous of my things and of my friends but I  wanted to share with you
her kindness, her grace and her world made of beautiful things.
This is what a friend does, don't you agree?
Share and complicity is what friendship is for !

Before to leave she gave me lots of hydrangea that I put all over my tiny! apartment...

I will tell you more and more about Valdirose that needs and entire post!

Don't miss my next Guest...she's so sunny!!!

Have a wonderful Week darlings!

{Good Morning}

hello my ladies!

I'm off today! I'm on my way to Florence! I'm going to visit Irene and his family! They invited me and Mr B for lunch!
I'm so excited!

Don't worry! I will take lots of pics to show you HOW AMAZING is this family! Actually...you don't need my pics! You know Irene and you appreciate her talent, her passions, her Valdirose!

It's some days that I'm a bit confused and quite "sad"... Don't worry! I'm fine...
I just need to understand!
What a better way to relax and recharge batteries?
Usually, when I feel blue I cuddle myself with some sweet goodies like bread, butter and jam, I take care of myself, I do what I love, I bake, I stay with friends, I lay down the sofa reading my new books, find some new ideas to realize...

So, that's the plan:

Lunch with friends
...
I'll see...better not to organize!
Unexpected things are always the best !!!
And you?

Have a nice weekend !
See you on monday

P.S : I NEED TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS! I'D LOVE TO MEET YOU ALL...
NEED ANOTHER REUNION SOON
WHO'S WITH ME?

I hope you had a magic wedding
I hope you hadthe wedding of your dream
I look forward to see your pics!

Congratulations!

{Summer destination - Part 1}

Those last sunny days make me think to my next summer destination...

When I was younger I preferred places like Ibiza with discos, lots of cocktails, beautiful sea, and lots of fun! I still love it but now I want to visit different kind of places and I have an other idea of holiday!

I'm dreaming of a journey in Sweden...

A big white house immersed in an extraordinarily beautiful private park

Having breakfast in a bright large kitchen

Spending the days reading books in a warm living room. White furnitures all over the house mixed to old style decors.  No curtains at the windows to let the sun bright your relaxing days.

Sitting outdoor admiring the beuty of the panorama that surround the house.

Sipping tea at the sun...

Like a sailor travel canals visiting small villages around the house dreaming of old story about mermaids.

walking on the enchanted park like living in a fairy-tale

"Since once I sat upon a promontory,
And heard a mermaid on a dolphin's back
Uttering such dulcet and harmonious breath,
That the rude sea grew civil at her song,
And certain stars shot madly from their spheres,
To hear the sea-maid's music."

"A Midsummers night's dream"
